Q: Muscle Cars?
I am going to build a house, and in my garage, I am going to build muscle and race cars. I want a hydraulic lift(car lift), like the ones auto mechanics use. Does anyone know how much they cost. How long they last, how much they can lift, and if there is a lot of maitenance.

A: http://www.superlifts.com/
http://www.americasprideonline.com/

http://www.e-autolifts.com/twopostble.html

Q: Muscle cars?
The muscle car has been around 1964. The cars have seen three generations: 1964-1974, 1982-1987, and 1998-present.
What is the best muscle car overall?

A: ‘70 Roadrunner Hemi 426 V8

Q: muscle cars?
what does “nom” mean when restoring muscle cars

A: it is “what was mornal” for the orginal

Q: How much is car insurance for older muscle cars?
I heard that car insurance is pretty expensive for older muscle cars, and I’d like to know around how much a month car insurance would be for a 1968 ford mustang?

A: I depends on what you plan to do with they car. If it’s a daily driver you’ll be stuck with liability, which is cheap. If you want classic car insurance you insure to the cars value and they limit your driving.

Q: Where can i learn the basics on how muscle cars work?
I dont know much about cars, but i know a little bit. But these muscle cars im looking at are foreign and strange to me. Wheres a good website to learn the basics on how these cars work.

I’m mostly curious too learn about the names of the parts under the hood. Thanks!

A: Muscle cars are simply older cars with lots of power and racy looks (at least for their era) they use carburetors instead of e f i, distributors instead of computer spark control, and most handle badly compared to modern machines. Some of them even handled evilly for their time. One good source is www.powerblocktv/musclecar.com.however, this site may not deliver enough detail for you. Many of the muscle car community don’t get real technical on websites because we’ve been doing this all our lives, and aside from bench racing (re; telling each other lies about how fast, etc,) we don’t see the point rehashing stuff we all already know. Besides, a lot of us aren’t really up on the web. When I’m doing the muscle car thing, I prefer good old hard copy.

Q: What is the different type of bodies of muscle cars mean?
I read a magazine on muscle cars and i always see these words “b-body”, “e-body” or “a-body” etc. type muscle cars. So what are they actually mean and how to differentiate different body types of muscle cars?

A: As a GM service/parts person, I can say this: The body style designation is what we use to determine which suspension and other parts the car was built with. There is a tag somewhere on every car built that gives codes. They tell what color, seat and interior type springs, engine, whether it was ordered with carpet or what. It tells if it had a performance package and it is the car’s birth certificate. The “A” body is a certain kind. “B” bodies are another. Some years the A body was a Grand Prix and in some other years it was a “W” body. B and C bodies were mostly larger cars. Depends on the manufacturer and the year.

Q: Why is the restoration of Muscle Cars becoming a current trend today?
Why is the restoration of Muscle Cars becoming a current trend today?

A: The restoration of classic cars isn’t much of trend people have been doing it for years now you’re probably just now noticing it. To more specifically answer your question as time has gone on and fewer and fewer pristine examples of classic cars exist so many people restore them examples for people who may not have or may never get to see what the original car looked like. Also alot of money can be made from the restoration of old cars.

Q: What do you think will happen to muscle cars?
With gas going for over $1.30 a Liter in most parts do you think that SUVs, Muscle cars and big trucks will be the thing of the past?

Some people say that even if gas was $2 a Liter it still wont stop some people to drive their gas guzzlers.

I personally think that there should be a way to convert any car you love that has low gas mileage with a hydrogen engine or something similar.

Think this is possible in the not so distant future?

A: Well as an owner of a 69 big block Chevelle for 40 years, if gas goes to $5. a gal, I got the money!

Q: How did people drive Muscle Cars without Power Steering nor Power Brakes?
Drum brakes are the worst and non-ABS is suicidal. Driving the 1960’s Muscle Cars was not sexy but animal. Plus there was no Air Bag.

A: The trick for driving a manual steering car is to have the car moving a little before you attempt to turn the steering wheel .

Q: How Can I make my car sound like one of those muscle cars that have a deep noise like its barely running?
Well I want my car to sound like one of those muscle cars that have a REALLY Loud sound but when its just sitting there it has a noise that rumbles but it sounds like it is barely running.

I don’t want to spend money on headers or anything but do you think cutting off the converter etc off the exhaust and making straight pipes will do it? Also does my idle of my throttle have anything to do with it?

A: First off, what kind of car you got.

Next, that deep sound is coming from the exhaust, but the barley running is because of the cam profile.

Cutting off the converter will void your emissions, making your car illegal.

If you have any welding experience, i would say go on ebay and find a used or a new cheap muffler of the make you want, and weld the rest of the system up.

TO get the barely running you are going to want to get a cam, but you don’t want to spend money.

Q: Where can I find old muscle cars for sale?
I am interested in purchasing 67-69 camaros, 66-70 chevelles, cudas, etc. Any classic muscle cars. Will travel to purchase.

A: Nice selection of cars. I collect Camaros, currently my most expensive one is $14. Hopefully down the road though I’ll own a much more expensive one. I look at the classifieds alot and there are some sites worth checking into.

http://www.collectorcartrader.com
http://www.ebay.com
http://www.backpage.com

http://www.craigslist.com

Hope these help

Q: My father and I want to start our own business rebuilding muscle cars?
My father and I have rebuilt a couple of cars and made money at it it’s how we’ve been making a living this past summer. I buy a muscle car in california for cheap then trailer it back to new hampshire where he lives we rebuild it and then sell it for more than we paid and put into it. We would like to start doing this in a legal sense so it’s our actuall jobs acording to the government and pay taxes and all that fun crap. Can any one help me on What we have to do Right now we just want to continue doing it out of our garage. I don’t only buy them in cali but any usually rust free state. Will we need a dealer license or what any one have any idea as to what we need to do?

A: Go to http://www.score.org/index.html and in the upper left hand corner, enter your zip code. On the next screen, you will get information in the nearest SCORE chapter. Call them and arrange for a free meeting with a SCORE counselor to discuss starting your business.

SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

SCORE has 389 chapters in locations throughout the United States and its territories, with 10,500 volunteers nationwide. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate time and expertise as business counselors.

Q: What is a good site to look for older muscle project cars?
What is a good site to look for older muscle cars or hot rods?
What is a good site to look for older project muscle cars and hot rods?

A: cardomain.com

there are pics of finish to enf of projects and vids too

Q: Why did some muscle cars win against the Lamborghini?
I have seen videos in which the Lamborghini was defeated by muscle cars. The Lambo is supposed to be tough no?
Those were drag races.

A: That was because they were racing in a straight line, and the race was over before they got 180 mph.
On a road course, I’ll take the Lamboghini. In a quarter mile, I’ll take my Mustang.

Q: Does anyone know a good website to buy old muscle cars online?
I’m looking to buy an old muscle car, but no local places have much of a selection and the only online website I know to check is Craig’s List. They don’t need to be restored (i’m planning on doing that myself), but they do have to be older cars.

A: Look at http://www.easyexport.us/?a_aid=49e6f684c12b9. It’s Copart Auto Auction reseller. There are a lot of muscle cars (restored and not) at Copart. And you can get one of them for quite reasonable price.

Q: Fast cars…?
Are there any five-seater, fast, & cool convertible cars? I’m not buying one, I’m just doing some research on cars. It needs to be an 06 or an 07. Do you know of any?

A: nulcear jet engine on a car.

Q: fast cars?
why do men (in general) driving fast cars, find it necessary to overtake at rounabouts?

A: why not??

no good reason…thats what i thought
hahah

Q: FaST CARS?
what fast car can i buy for under 20k

A: Used Mini Copper S

Q: Fast Cars???
WHAT IS IT WITH ALL THE HISPANIC PEOPLE PUTTING STUDPID WORTHLESS SH’T ON THERE CARS LIKE HUBCAP SPINNERS AND FLAME WALMART STICKERS!!!?!?!??!!?!?! I AM REALLY CURIOUS???? WHT HAS GOTTEN INTO THEM??? People that do this have no respect for there cars and take them for granted.

A: Hubcap spinners…LOL!!!! Stickers??? That must look retarded!!! I would never put stickers all over my sweet SUV’s….. I see some people with hondas put a big “H” on their back window… that looks dumb…. and the retards who put like “chevy” on their windsheild… like they dont know what they are driving.

Q: Why do car companies make fast cars when we can’t legally drive them on the street?
It is pretty dumb. Why are there speed limits when we know that there are fast cars that reaches it’s speed limit higher than the signs of speed limit on the street or somewhere?

A: There are places you can go fast. They make them better because they can.

Q: What do you think about the way people drive there fast cars?
What do you think about the way people drive there fast cars?

A: I don’t mind people speeding and such if they do it semi-responsibly. If it’s late at night and you want to gun it and hit triple digits then cool. I’ve done it before in my car. If it’s 6:30 PM and there is mild traffic and you’re blowing past people at 95 when traffic is flowing at 70 then you’re being an idiot.

Q: What interesting things about fast cars can I talk about?
I’m doing a 5 minute presentation at school and I’d just like to see if anyone’s got some interesting ideas as to what I should talk about. I’d like to include things about energy efficiency and the past, present and future of fast cars

A: you can talk about the technology of nos and how it affects the speed when mixed in with the gas. and you can talk about how far we’ve come from the model T ford to the top fuel drag racers.

Q: Where can i buy fast cars with custom modifications? Like racing cars for the streets?
I like Mitsubishi lancer evolutions but any website that sells fast pimped out cars is good enough for me.

A: Where I come from we modify our own cars, inside and out.
Buying an already “pimped out’ car seems like cheating to me.

Q: Does anyone know where I can find math behind the aerodynamics of fast cars, i.e ferraris?
I need to do a presentation on how math is involved in cars going fast but i can’t find any math. It would be great if someone could help or give me a website. Something that involves why there are side panels, spoilers and how they keep the car on the ground by eliminating lift.

A: u will have to ask an Air space engineer, for this…

Q: Do people who enjoy fast cars also enjoy plane rides?
I have a friend who says he loves “speed”. He likes to go fast. He drives his car fast, drag races, enjoys watching car races.
One time, we went on a trip together on a plane. I though he would be fascinated and amazingly excited about going at a speed of 600 miles per hour! But he didn’t seem to enjoy the flight at all. In fact, he fell asleep on the plane.

Why do some people enjoy fast cars? And why wouldn’t these same people be excited about flying in a plane at much greater speeds?

A: because you can feel the speed and the adrenaline rush when you’re in a car, but in a plane it dosen’t really feel like your moving at all :/ although i do enjoy take off and landing

Q: what are some fast but affordable good looking cars?
im 16 and only have $5,500. im really trying to get a car quick but dont know what cars to look for, im really into fast cars but with this budget i am clueless.HELP!

A: The chances are, whatever you get for that much will either be wrecked or have a whole bunch of miles on it.
I know you’d like a nice, fast car, but if I were you, I’d wait until you have around twice as much as you do now, because I have a whole list of fast, used cars that you can get for around $10,000-15,000.
Here it is:
Around 30 mpg:
1) Dodge Neon SRT-4 (MOPAR Stage 2 or 3 kit makes it really fast-FWD)
2) ‘95′-’02 Chevy Camaro Z28 or SS (RWD)
3) Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-X (AWD)
4) Toyota MR-2 Spyder (RWD)
5) Mazda RX-8 (RWD)
These two (#4 & 5) are fairly slow, but they achieve high mpg numbers and can be fixed up to be fast. The MR-2 Spyder especially, with a turbo or more powerful engine can be made to be fast, as it’s quite light.
6) Mazda MX-5 Miata (RWD)
This one isn’t fast either, but it’s a RWD car, making it better for power increases. However, it’s more difficult to give a bigger engine or whatever, because that will most likely mess up the weight balance.

Around 20 mpg:
7) ‘93-’5 Mazda RX-7 (twin turbo-RWD)
Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo (RWD)
9) GMC Typhoon (fast truck/SUV-RWD)

Of these, the fastest (all stock) are the GMC Typhoon (0-60 in 5 seconds or less), the Camaro SS, and SRT-4.
The Camaro Z28 runs from 0-60 in 5.5, as does the SRT-4, but the SS is probably faster, and the SRT-4 can decrease that sprint time to below 5 seconds with a MOPAR Stage 3 kit.
All of these can be tuned to be faster than they are already, of course.
The RSX Type S does 0-60 in 7.8 or less (no faster than the 6-second range, if that). The Miata and MR-2 Spyder both go from 0-60 in the 7-second range, I believe.

Q: what are some good movies that involve fast cars and lots of racing action?
I want to watch some movies with hot cars and races like : fast and furious, redline, and so on. please name all the movies that you can think of that would fit in this category- thx!

A: The fast and the furious
Death race

Q: why is it that car companies make fast cars anyways?
i mean Europe is a different story, but here in the US, they make cars that can top 120mph and the legal speed limit never goes over 75, here in California it never tops 70 and the highest ive seen it is 75 in Arizona, so why make fast cars if we cant legally drive them to their full potential?

A: They’re all basically bankrupt. They desperately need money. It turns out, people will pay money for a car that goes faster than 55 mph.

If you were dictator of a totalitarian state, you could dictate that everybody had to drive a car that would only go 55. If people didn’t like it, you’d shoot ‘em. But it’s pretty hard for a business to get away with that.

So GM and Ford don’t have the option of forcing people to take what they produce. GM could have gotten away with that, frankly, in 1955. But not now.

Q: What do you think is the attraction for guys in sleek, fast cars?
I mean think about it.

Some movies with fast cars:
Fast and Furious Series
Death Race
The Covenant
National Treasure 2 (High Speed Chase)
Speed Racer
Tranformers
Etc…

A: well, many humans are attracted by FLASHY things, things that look nice, scream expensive , essentially saying “I’m important”. its an ego boost. its also a sign of power and aggression, especially when your driving a sleek CRAZY car at like 120 mph.

its a stimulant, people are generally very bored, people like to watch movies, argue, have sex, fantasize, work out, DRIVE FAST to stimulate them and end their boredom. My friend drives extremely fast on back roads “just to feel the danger, makes me feel alive”. Its a form of entertainment.

The same experience of watching someone be incredibly focused and drive really fast, while doing a noble cause, or just by trying to get away from someone. same thing can be seen in movies with stylized, martial arts fighting. The combination of Intense fighting, aggression with intense concentration mixed with a noble cause or w/e is INCREDIBLY appealing. People get pumped up by that. Same thing when people walk and talk fast, that whole “something is going down and i’m a part of it” feeling.

I got mad pumped, when i was watching Valkyrie, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and Basic Instinct and such. Movies are DESIGNED that way to stimulate the viewer.

Q: Do you have hard time driving fast cars?
Do you have hard time driving fast cars?

A: No: I think is safer having a responsive car, “fast” cars accelerate, corner and brake better.

Yes: Stupid people won’t see you. Cops will try to ticket you even when you’re not speeding. Insurance is diabolical, even if your driving record is spotless. Irresponsible stupid kids will want to race you.

Q: What should I charge to post used cars for sale on Ebay?
I have my own photography business and want to help used car dealers sell their cars either on Ebay or creating a webpage for them as I have experience in web design also.

A: I would charge a minimum of $250 for your work, plus all fees incured.

Q: What websites can I find used cars for sale on?
Im looking for a website like craigslist and the want ad to find used cars in the albany ny area. Anyone know of any sites?

A: autotrader.com, cars.com, ebay and craigslist are all popular.

Q: Questions to ask when buying a used cars? For sale by owner?
What are some good questions to ask when buying a used car that is for sale by the owner?

What are some good bargaining points so that I could lower the price?

All I know right now is that it is a GMC truck. .that’s red. haha.

A: get a carfax report on it. have a mechanic look at it before you buy it. Try to look for defects mechanically and cosmetically.

look on the interior. ask if the car is a salvage title, meaning that it was totaled, but ifxed up anyway. ask if all the matience was done, and if it was, by a professional, or an ameteur? take a test drive and see if it runs smoothly. ask if there was any body work done to it, even if it was a small detn from a fender bender

if the car has been in an accident, that should lower the price into about almost a half. be sure to invest the 30 dollars and get teh carfax, just to see that he isnt lying. if the matiencing wasnt done.. just leave, because its gonna have lots of problems

but other than that, buying it should be decently simple. good luck!

Q: what are the best places for finding used cars for sale?
I am looking around to see which places are the best to find used cars that sale for eight hundred to one thousand dollars. I look at the goverment auction sites but I am still not sure which place are the best to buy a car that sale for that amount

A: Auctions are a great place to find cheap prices on cars. Look on eBay as well. Check the NickelAds, your local paper for cars under $1k, and check out AutoTrader or CarSoup.

Q: Websites good for finding used cars for sale by owner?
I’m looking for a dependable used car on a budget and was wondering if anyone knew of any websites similar to “craigslist” that i should look at?

A: THE BEST ONE I CAN THINK OF RIGHT KNOW IS CARS.COM IF U LIVE IN AMERICA

Q: Used cars for sale in the 48060 area?
Does anyone know of or personally have a used car for sale in the 48060 area code/ Port Huron, MI or within a 50 mile radius of there? I need one that runs with little or no work needed. Thank you.

A: Please check on Autotrader.com Thousands of vehicles within a 100 mile radius

Q: Where can I find listings of used cars for sale?
I am seeking online listings for used Cadillac vehicles.
I have used eBay, Autotrader, KBB, and Cars.com. Are there other sites? Thanks!

A: http://www.carsdirect.com/used_cars/search

this site also gives many great tips on how to ensure the car your looking at is a good one to buy

Q: Used car buying, Is there a lemon law on used cars for sale by owner? How do you get a mechanic to look at it?
If you don’t own the car, how can you take the car to have a mechanic look at it? How much does it cost to do this?

A: tell the person that you will not buy the car unless it is checked out by a mechanic if he wants to sell the car he will work out the details about $75 to $100

Q: What are some websites to search for used cars for sale?
Looking for cars from the 80’s and 90’s for sale

A: I look on Ebay…autotrader.com is good too.

Q: Best place to research for used cars for sale?
I mean other than carmax and autotrader. Looking to buy a used car with less than 60,000 miles and that’s good on gas. My budget is absolutely no more than $10,000

A: Your question is unclear. Precisely what do you mean by “research”? Are you seeking particular used vehicles for sale or information about various years, makes, and models?

For the former, you can hardly do better than autotrader.com. It may not be the only resource, but it’s certainly one of the most wide-reaching and comprehensive while providing tools for you search as specifically as you’d like. Certain auto-related web sites like edmunds.com combine their own reference and editorial content with autotrader listings to provide general vehicle information too. The biggest advantage of autotrader.com is that it contains vehicles from both dealers and private parties.

Other web sites like cars.com have their own listing capabilities. Sites like caranddriver.com, motortrend.com, autos.msn.com and yahoo autos offer editorial content and estimated values. If you want basic pricing information, you can refer to the Kelly Blue Book web site (kbb.com) and nadaguides.com to help derive your own consensus.

Best of luck. I hope this helps.

Q: Whats a good website to look at used cars for sale?
Whats a good website to look at used cars for sale?
im looking for a 1983 el camino or a cobalt or something just a wedsite that has a variety of cars

A: You have to pay to get access to the sites that Avonlee mentioned.

The best sites I’ve found are www.autotrader.com and Google Base which is at www.google.com/base.

I hate Craig’s list because I’ve encountered two people who have tried to scam me on that web site.

You can also check out Ebay Motors!

Q: Where can i find used cars for sale?
Im looking to buy a car like the body or the shell but with no motor. Cars that just sit in peoples yard. Where can i find them?

A: Plenty of Craiglist

Get more information on car loans.

Q: Car loans?
I am looking to get a used car and I want to finance it through my bank. How do car loans work? Do I need to find a car first or do I get the money from the bank first? What if I get a loan for 12k and I find a car that is 10k – do I need to give back the extra 2k?

A: Go to your bank or credit union and get approved for a loan. Go to the dealership and buy the car. They write the contract or purchase order and you can take that to your bank or cu and your loan is for the amount of the purchase of the car. The dealer might have access to your bank or credit union directly and they can take care of all the paperwork. They might also be able to get you a better rate than the bank.

Q: Car Loans?
Are there any car loans out there that send the check to the borrower instead of the dealer?
BTW, I have excellent credit 740 FICO. But I am trying to buy a car from an individual instead of a dealer which is why I am looking for a car loan that pays to me instead of a dealer.

A: Today every person has need of car, because it has become the necessary need for the people and status symbol also. If you have bad credit history or poor credit history and look for purchase a car, then it is very tough for you. Due to bad credit history, lenders are not keen toward<!--providing you loan, but do not be discouraged.Generally, bad credit car loans are available at higher interest rate, but you can take at competitive interest rate after placing your assets as collateral in secured bad credit car loan. You may find some car loans here,

http://badcredits.awardspace.com/guaranteed-car-loan.htm

You also can grab bad credit car loan without keeping your asset as collateral, but you have to pay competitively higher interest rate. Hence–>you can take this loan at better rate, because competition among lender. You can reduce your interest rate after talking with the lender

Q: car loans?
im 18 years old and i need a car, where and how do i get a loan to buy a car.. i’m not wanting a brand new car i just need a loan to buy one now and how does it work? how do i pay loans back? i dont want to mess up my credit for the future.. thanks
im not wanting much money from a loan just need a car for now and im still in school and i get 209 a week but the phone bill kills i have 669 soo far i just need a car like maybe a cav or something like that.. but thy are like1500 or a lil more.. can i get a little loan like that or something? i dont want it shitty so i have to have it in the shop every week i need to to get me to and from school and work and not break down.. i want it decent not luxury car

A: To have a decent shot and getting a car loan on your own, you’ll need 6 months or more of a good credit history. Having a year or more is better. Usually you’ll start getting a good credit history by getting a credit card with a low credit limit, and making the payments on time. Lenders also want to see that you have a stable residence and job history.

The larger down payment you have, and the more income you make, the greater your chances for approval. The main issues I see with you getting a car loan are having a limited credit history, having limited job history, and possibly not having enough income.

Applying for a car loan is easy – regular dealerships have contacts with many different lenders, and will request the approval for you. You can also apply for a car loan online through companies like Capital One. If you do decide to get financing through a dealership, have this information readily available.

1. Names, addresses, and phone numbers of 3 references.
2. Recent pay stubs from your current employer.
3. Your current and previous employers’ name, address and phone number.
4. Current and previous addresses.

Q: CAR LOANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
When you get a car loan and someone cosigns for you…if you prove to the bank or whatever after a year can you have that cosigner taken off? Because it shows you build can make your payments on time for you a year (well that is if you do) and you build credit.

A: No the cosigner cannot be removed until the loan is paid off or you refinance without a cosigner…………..md

Q: Who would you recommend for pensioner car loans or unsecured loans here in Australia and why?
Want to upgrade, have decent deposit and decent trade-in. Who does hassle free pensioner car loans here in Oz?

A: Please contact any banking organization who extends car loans. If they have policy decision to extend car loan to pensioner in Australia, then you will have fulfill the banking requirements for getting the required car loan. Good Luck

Q: Who lends to Unsecured personal or car loans with bad credit?
Unsecured personal or car loans with bad credit?
Which company’s lend to people with bad credit I went through a nasty divorce and now I need to rebuild my credit. I understand the interest will be a little higher and suggestions.

A: Yes, the interest rates are higher for people with lower credit scores because they are considered high risk loans.

I’m not sure about unsecured personal loans, but I do know that you can get approved for car loans with bad credit. You will pay more in interest, and in some cases may also pay more for the car itself if you are purchasing a used car from a buy here / pay here car dealer.

Here is a site that can show you were to go for a bad credit car loan: http://www.badcreditchannel.com

Q: Is it smart to use a home equity loan to pay off car loans, and a line of credit?
My husband and I need to lower our monthly payments. We have no debt except a line of credit for $60,000 with the payment of $410 and two car loans both adding up to about $25,000 and the combined payment of $1050/mo. So, we are spending about $1400/month for these 3 things. If we got a loan for $110,000 and payed all these off, our payment at 6.6% would be around $700/month. Of course I would always pay more than that per month which would go to principle. Why isn’t this a good thing to do? I realize that getting a new car would add to our payments once again. So, that would not be smart. Other than that, is this a smart thing to do? It seems like it is, but then why don’t more people do this?

A: In theory it sounds good. But here’s what happens. You borrow the 100 grand and now you have financed your two old cars for 15,20 or 30 years. If that isn’t bad enough statistics show that you will have more car loans, credit cards, etc. PLUS the 100 grand loan in 5 years. You cannot “borrow” yourself to prosperity. Pay off your obligations without refinancing and you will be proud of your actions.

Q: I have two car loans and would like to put money down towards one of them. Which one should I choose?
I have two car loans with the same interest rate 5.65%. One loan is 10,281 and the other one is a new car loan at 22,525 that’s with taxes included. I plan to put 6,000 down towards one of the loans. Do I put the money on the lower one to pay it off sooner or refinance the new one and decrease the taxes and interest paid over the life of the loan. It doesn’t cost anything to refinance with my credit union, so there are no fees involved. Im having a hard time determining which way is more cost effective.

A: In my experience, I find it better to pay off whatever you can sooner. That way, once you pay it off, you can put what you save from paying on that one to paying more on the other.

Q: Can you get a homeloan that will also willing to pay 2 car loans?
We are planning to buy a house but I was wondering if it’s possible that a lender will also pay off 2 car loans? like include it to the homeloan?

A: No. A mortgage is a real estate loan. If you’re doing a refinance and have enough equity, you could get enough money to pay those car loans, but the lender won’t do a payoff for you, unless it’s a condition of the loan.

On a purchase though, the maximum amount of loan will be whatever loan-to-value ratio you are qualified to get, based on the lesser of the purchase price and appraised value.

There are occasionally programs that will lend you additional money for repairs, but those programs are rare and very specific.

No mortgage lender will give you money as part of a purchase loan to pay off cars.

Q: How to avail pre approved car loans when having almost no credit.?
Hi all,
I am a student and don’t have a credit. So can anyone suggest me how i can have a car loans.
I have heard of pre approved car loans are there any possibilities that i can get a loans from such dealers.

Please help me out. Any reply will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

A: Financed cars is more expensive to insurance cause it requires full coverage. You can compare how much you would pay for full coverage of this car using this tool – carquotes.sinfree.net

Q: What is my credit score, and do I qualify for any car loans?
I am a UC student, and need a car. I have four credit cards for about a year, and also am on some student loans. I have never missed a payment, but I don’t have a job. I want to get a car so that I can get a job somewhere. What are my chances of getting an auto loan, with a co-signer that does not have credit but has a steady job? And is there some way to estimate what my credit score is?

A: You’re best bet will be trying some online sites that give loans. This site might be able to help you. You will also probably need a cosigner.

http://fairautoloans.com

Also, www.freecreditreport.com will help you on your credit score.

Q: Can a person get two car loans around the same time?
My mom just bought a new car a couple weeks ago. I bought a new car a couple days ago and I needed her to co-sign for me. Will she be able to have two loans? Will her being on my loan have a negative effect on her getting her own loan on her car? I’m really new at this. It’s my first car, so please explain this to me. I’m really worried that I ruined her chances of getting financed for her car.

A: Someone with a good credit rating can finance as many cars as he, or she, wants. As long as her credit rating stays strong, and her debt to income ratio is still balanced the way lenders like.

But, as you say, if your mother has already purchased her car, the question has already been somewhat answered. If you are worried about the “next” car loan she may need; only if you falter on your loan will she be negatively affected when that time comes.

Your Mother put herself on the line for you. Thank her, and don’t let her down. If you make all of your payments on time, you, and your Mom, will be better off when the loans are paid in full.

http://usedcarsale.com/answers/questions/car_loan/two_car_loans_at_once.aspx

Good luck to you.

Q: Should the UK govt offer mortgages and car loans directly to the public instead of pouring money into banks?
borrowing is at an al time low, car finance is now almost impossible to get.

if the govt offered credit worthy people loans for house purchase and car purchase would that help to kick start the UK economy in the motor and construction industry.

it has been announced that the british car show has been cancelled for the first time since the second world war because of the financial situation

if banks will not lend then should the govt not lend instead?

A: what the government should have done was waited til the banks were at the lowest price, bought them, sacked all the managers, hired new competent people, offered mortgages loans etc, waited til the value of the stock rose, sold the banks off and given the tax payer all of the proceeds

thats how a free market really works
not the shambolic example of corporatism we are witnessing

Q: How do car loans work?
I’m a junior in college and I use my dad’s car to get to and from school during breaks or holidays. I’m paying for school through students loans, so I will be in debt after school. So I was wondering how car loans work because I need a something big like a jeep or something, and I’m wondering if there is a such thing such as a student car loan. Something I can pay back after I graduate from college. I hope that don’t sound dumb but I don’t know anything about car loans.
responding to j s,

being a junior in college and not knowing about car loans doesn’t means I’m not ready for the real world. You might of had many people in your life while you were young to help you understand a lot things such as car loans, unfortunately I don’t have that in my life. So I must learn somewhere in learn, but thanks for the info. God Bless

A: Set your sights on that Jeep once you get that job! Earning is a privilege! Self-satisfaction.

Motorcycles are easy on the gas and maintenance. Get a double seater for your dates.

Q: When applying for a car loan, can school loans be listed as a source of income?
Can graduate school loans that help pay for living expenses (ie: $22,000/year) be listed as a source of income for a Bank of America car loan?

Also, if someone shares a checking/savings account with someone who has a substantial income, can their income be used on the car loan application?

“Best Answer” to whoever can answer the questions that are being asked

A: Oh good grief! Be really careful with declaring someone else’s income like yours. That can be fraud!
You could get someone to legitimately co sign with you but remember the car belongs to them at that point also.
Just get a little job and use your living expenses for school and living and use your job to pay for your car.
Only your bank can tell you if you can us a student loan but I wouldn’t count on it.

Q: Why is the car insurance for the Saabs so low?
Volvo and Saab have lower car insurance premiums that Honda, Toyota, Ford, etc.

Q: Low car insurance monthly payment for a teen?
Is there any way to get a low car insurance monthly payment? I’m 19yrs and want to get a 09′ Challenger. My friend told me I could maybe put the car under my moms name or something but I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to pay a crap load for car insurance.
Just curious but could I get like a discount or anything for being in the National Guard? I know it sounds stupid but I’m just wondering. Ha Ha Ha

A: Low monthly payment and the word teenager can not be used in the same sentence.

Q: What is a reliable car with a low insurance group?
I’ve done a little research and noticed they put cars together in insurance groups – like 2e for example. Is the letter for the level of security – so is ‘e’ bad, for example and ‘a’ good? Could someone please explain the process, and as I’ve just passed (I’m 18) – could you name a suitable car for me – lower insurance bracket if possible?

A: well for the 1st year you need to get the smallest engine size like a 1.1 fiesta or nova as for reliable that depends on the age and how its been looked after but I would’nt touch citreon c3 they are rubish.

Q: Do you know of any extremely low cost car insurance for cars?
Please dont say companies like Geico, progressive, etc. i am looking for something that I have not looked at already- that maybe someone on here has experience with. i live in NJ, but that really doesnt matter when shopping for auto insurance.
Please no opinions, just companies Thanks!

A: The best price depends on a lot of factors. Where you live, how you use the car (commuting, business or just “pleasure” use), and how old you are and if you are married or not. And the state does matter, some companies won’t write insurance in New Jersey, because they think there are too many accidents in that state.

Also, are you looking to just get the legally required minimum policy or do you want good coverage? That makes a difference too.

Q: Live in FL need to know were to get low car insurance rate for my daughters 2001 saturn sl1?
She is going to need comp and collision because she owes on the car she is 22 and has 1 speeding ticket cost per month now is approx 170.00 any help would be great she has progressive now

A: Check out http://www.surfquotes.com they specialize in car insurance for young drivers

Q: looking for a family car with low insurance and tax after recent budget meriva size approx?
got an 04 plate meriva looking for another family sized car for prams etc but want low insurance and tax as feel my tax and petrol are too much for the meriva its a 1.6,

A: Yea I’ve been looking for something similar. I’m looking at an estate Skoda Octavia, either 1.4 which I think will be under powered when fully loaded or the 1.9Tdi with a bit more grunt. It should be low in tax (C band)

Q: what is a nice car that is between 2003 to 2008 that is low on car insurance?
I am 19 years old and is looking for a coupe or a sporty car. I am currently driving a 2000 dodge neon and is getting sick of it. Not a car that I want to drive my dates in.

A: You are too young to find cheap insurance on a newer car most likely. I worked in the auto insurance industry and know first hand. A coupe is going to be expensive automatically. 2dr compared to 4dr can make a significant difference in insurance price. Sporty cars are also more expensive. If you want cheap you need to get a mid 1990’s car that is four door, not high value, has air bags, and good to excellent crash ratings. Thats probably not what you are looking for but thats the truth. The only other thing that can make a big difference is your credit score and what state/city you live in. If you do get a new car, make sure it has all the best safety features to lower the cost on your end. The rates are so expensive b/c you have a higher chance of hitting another veh. Your car is only half the equation.

Q: Decent looking vehicle, good gas mileage, low car insurance? &Where to find good car insurance rates??
I filled out a couple quotes from esurance.com and allstate and i got like $2100 & $4100 premium 6 month payment. Does that mean its going to cost me that much for insurance for only 6 months? If so, that is insane. That would be $350-$750 dollars a month. That cannot be real. My dad gave me a quote from Allstate(thats what he has) and it was about $117.00/Mth for a Chevy Blazer for 18 Year Old First Driver. I am very new to the whole insurance thing so can someone just point me in a small direction to the lowest priced insurance with good plans. I would absolutely love to have an older car(oldsmobile, or between 60s&80s)But thats way to pricy, along with a nice sports vehicle. Because of the gas mileage and decent look, i would like a Chevy Convert Tracker. Just give me some advice if you know what im talking about.
Thanks Much
Excuse me for the mistake above. My fathers quote was from State farm(thats what he has).

A: Your father should put you on his insurance, and you pay him,you will both win with this situation if multiple vehicles are on the same contract…. that’s why the rate he gave you was so much cheaper. if your making payments on the vehicle, your creditor is probably requesting you get full coverge, which is why it’s so expensive for someone your age, if you own the vehicle out right, just get the minimum state requirements( Ca. is PL/PD )..you can also try progressive insurance, takes almost no time for a quote and they are open nearly 24/7…good luck.

Q: What car can I get for the lowest car insurance?
I don’t care how old or what car I just want to know which car gets the lowest insurance cost for a 16 year old.

A: Your parents car will be a good bet. If you have to get your own car, have your parents add you to their policy. Otherwise, get a car that is safe, slow and gets good gas mileage and the rates should be ok. Compact cars like a camery, kia, taurus, cavalier and etc.. should be good money savers.

Q: What is the best car with low insurance costs and the best safety rating for a young 17 yr old learner driver?
I am looking to buy a new, or possibly up to about 3 year old, car for my daughter, soon to be 17, to learn to drive in. The car will be in her name and so I’m looking for something safe, but also as inexpensive to insure as possible.
Has anyone gone through this process recently and so can provide me with any experiences or advice generally?

A: I would save time and pay for professional tuition then buy a nice car when she passes. Intense courses can be very effective. If you buy a car don’t get a fiat cinqaciento as they are very poor in crash ratings. A vauxhall corsa 1.0 12 valve will be very economical to run and quite good in crash tests.

Q: What is a fast car with low insurance/cost with more than 2 seats, a v6 or smaller and auto transmission?
Preferably an American car but others are acceptable.

A: I have ever met this kind of situation before, here www.AutoInsuranceFree.info is the resource I found useful though.

Q: Low income liability car insurance in california: I have a low income and need to get liability car insurance.?
I moved to california and was laid off and had to take a low income job. So where can I find just liability car insurance?

A: Just get a quote from insurers you get from yellow pages,. the internet, the TV, the radio.

Q: under £1000 car, low insurance group, fuel effieient, help?
I’m looking to get myself a car for one year as soon as i pass my test so i can get a no claims bonus. what car would be best to buy (used) what year (reliable or not too difficult to keep maintained by me alone.)

It needs to have a low monthly running cost and be almost guaranteed to survive without major (>150) parts replacement over the year.

and it needs to be in a low insurance group.

A: Pretty much anything would do you really. For low tax and insurance, try and stay under a 1.4l engine, if you can get a 1l, that would be even better. Any English model such as ford or vauxhall will be cheap to repair as you can get spares for these easily from your local scrap yard.

One thing I found, as a young driver- having a 4 door car as opposed to a 2 door car put my insurance down as it was considered more of a family car. Also, shop around for insurance, these online comparison sites are very good but I found going through my yellow pages and calling local unknown brokers got me cheaper quotes too.

Hope that helps, even a little.

Q: Low car insurance adjustment from liable company’s adjuster?
Someone else hit my car while it was parked. It was very cut-and-dry. I got a police report, the officer talked to the driver. It states that my car was legally parked and the other driver is at fault. The damage is minor rear bumper damage, nothing too terrible. I filed with his insurance company, and after a lot of frustrating phone tag, an insurance adjuster came out and wrote me an estimate for $450. I had an adjustment for $734 from the local body shop for my make of car, and I showed it to him. I expressed my dissatisfaction with this estimate, and he said the body shop would settle with the insurance company directly for costs in excess of the estimate. $300 is a little much. Since it’s minor damage, I think the body shop will probably take the money and do a shoddy job on the car. It’s my understanding they are supposed to repair my car to pre-accident conditions. I got another estimate for $745 this weekend. I can’t get it fixed for $450. What are my options? (cont’d)
There is one issue–previous damage on the bumper that I was not responsible for. I’m not asking them to repair that damage, but the adjuster took lots of pictures of it and probably used it as leverage in his adjustment. The paint is flaking at the new spot of damage, there is a clear difference between the two.
Also, I signed nothing when he came out and I haven’t done anything with the check. The letter with the check states, “You will be responsible for any charges that exceed our estimate,” so it looks like I’m going to have to pay $300 to get my car fixed and I’m not happy about it. The guy lied to me, probably thinking I’m stupid enough to just go cash the check.
Obviously, this is extremely minor as far as car insurance claims go. I talked to the driver and he said he would make sure my car got fixed.. etc etc. Talking to him might be a last resort. I have nothing in writing from him.

A: These are the worse type of claims to settle to everyone’s satisfaction, ever! I work in the industry and look at this type of damage numerous times a week. Everyone has old damage on their bumpers, that’s what bumpers are for for heavens sake.

So here it is, you are entitled to be put back to the position you were in prior to this accident happening. If you had old damage on your bumper that is not this person’s responsibility and all you will get is a paint allowance. You didn’t mention how old your car is, that factors into things as well. Paint depreciates just like your car does, it oxidizes and loses luster. Would you be happier with the insurance company repairing that one spot on the bumper and you ending up with mismatched paint? I don’t think so.

Finally, if you are getting quotes in excess of $700 for minor bumper damage only then you are getting hosed unless you are driving a luxury vehicle. You could get a used bumper, have it painted and replaced on your vehicle for less than these quotes. Don’t tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about because I do. The offer is fair, take it and get your bumper repaired.

Q: Good, Cheap, Low Insurance Cost, 1st car for a 19 Year Old?
Should be taking my driving test very soon.
Ive looked at cars i would like to have. But obviously the insurance is much to high.

Any body got any good ideas which would be a good car for me?
can pay up to £2000 for the car. because I’m not paying for it. all i have to fund is the insurance.

So any low insurance cars around?

A: I’m 17 and drive a Land Rover Defender, my insurance is £320 a year because my dad is the policy holder and i’m an additional driver, my insurance for me without my dad as policy holder would be about £4000. £320 is good considering it’s a £30 000 2.5 litre monster. Try getting your parents to do that for you.

As for cars, something small like a Clio or 207, go for a diesel because the running costs are cheaper and they are usually cheaper to insure as well.

Q: Used cars?
What are the best used cars for teenagers. All i need is something that runs with a radio. How much should i expect to pay for something remotley nice?

A: you can find cheaper cars but if you spend a little more you will save on repairs in the future.

for $4,000

look for

98 Acura CL, 98 Ford Mustang V6, 98 Honda Accord or Civic, 98 Nissian Frontier or Pathfinder, 98 Subaru Impreza or Legacy, 98 -00 Toyota Corolla or Echo 00

these are all reliable and will last longer than other cars in this price range.

for around $6k an Acura Integra 98-99 is a great car.

Q: used cars?
what are some good used cars to buy? like different makes that are cheap to fix and reliable?
don’t really care how you feel about used cars i’d just like to know some good used car makes Thanks

A: A good used Honda will go over 300,000 miles if you maintain it.

Q: Used Cars.?
Are there any used car dealerships that put up what cars they have for sale and all that online?

A: You can try
http://www.usedcarsinfo.info/
90% off Retail Value.
Good luck!

Q: Whats the difference between new and used cars?
I mean, if you buy a used car you need to pay for things like regular maintenance, car repairs, insurance, gas, vehicle plate and sticker fee, and fuel. But if you buy a new car, you don’t need to pay for car repairs right? How much are car repairs for a used car?
And also if you have time:
How many liters of gas can the Hyundai Accent, Kia Spectra, and Chevrolet Aveo cars respectfully hold?

A: New cars – can allways finance it (pay for it monthly, some used cars you cant do that)
-Dont have to worry bout it breaking down
-has a warranty
-looks way better
-insurance will be better (because it wont be breaking down as much as a used one)

Used cars- Not allways have the choice of financing
-could break down without knowing
-usually has no warranty, if so, little
-parts will start to fall off easier
-depending on car, insurance can be expensive
-Used car salesmen are taught and trained to lie so that you buy the car thinking nothing is wrong with it until the next day stuff starts breaking. (Use craigslist to buy a used car not a dealership for this reason)

In conclusion: If your looking for good insurance – NEW
If your looking for a nice fresh look – NEW
If your looking for a good price – USED
If your looking for a reliable car – NEW or craigslist used
If your looking for a Warranty – NEW
If your looking for financing – NEW

I would get a new car but a low year like 2007 instead of the 2009’s or 10’s
good luck finding a car!!!

Q: How many used cars and public transportation but not bikes?
A survey of 200 students at a nonresidential college was taken to determine how they got to campus during the fall term. Of those surveyed, 118 used cars, 102 used public transportation, and 70 used bikes. 48 students used cars and public transportation, 38 used cars and bikes and 26 used public transportation and bikes. 22 students used all three modes of transportation. How many used cars and public transportation but not bikes?

A: it says it in the question.. 48

Q: What is the best website to buy used cars?
I live in MN and need to start searching for a used car.

Haven’t done it in 2 years and wanna know whats the best sites out there for used cars.

I know I used to use car soup and autotrader.

A: craigslist

Q: What happens to the used cars that goes to big auction?
If the used cars are not sold within time at the Used car lot, they will go to big auction. What happens to the used cars when they go to big auction?

A: they get bought by other dealers at a low price they then put a little cash into it them resale it at there dealership
i’ve been to a few of these auctions you must be a dealer to enter these places i’ve seen people go in and buy 10 to 15 cars its crazy and all at dirt prices

Q: What kind of used cars are good on gas a low cost?
My husband and i are looking for a new car because our other cars are old but we are on a tight budget . We wanted to know which cars are the best. (By the way we want a used car.)

A: Check out the Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, etc. I’ve attached links to the top ten most fuel efficient cars for 2003-2005. That should help you find a good used car. (2004 split into Hybrid verusus non-hybrid, but it should still be useful.)

Q: I am planning to import used cars from Dubai to Ethiopia and I am looking for exporters & their procedure?
I am a young salesman here in Addis saling spare parts of differet cars and I am planning to start importing some used cars. But, the problem is I don’t know what the procedure in Dubai could be and I am looking for exporters from dubai to give me the detail info about it and may be give me a chance to visit their collection. I already got importing licence paper and waiting info to make things more clear.

A: Selam new
I am Ethiopian in Japan. I was so surprised when I see this post because i was looking for someone who can import car in Ethiopia.
please contact me my mail is

nani_senay@yahoo.com

Senay ebalalehu
beterefe I will send u my phone number with email.

Q: How much are used cars when buying from car dealers?
What I mean is, how much do cars actually cost with tax, etc. For example, say the used car you want to buy is $6,000. How much do you actually end up paying?

A: Whats your state sales tax ?
Add insurance, registration and inspection to the price and extended warranty if you buy it and off you go.

If your sales tax is say 5% add $50 per thousand to the price of the car. 6% $60.00 and so on.
Insurance will vary with type of coverage, driving records etc, inspection in NY is $45 and 2 year registration (plates) can be $200.00. Your state will vary.

The sales tax you pay once, of course, the DMV fees come back according to regular schedule.

Q: How can I find information on used cars that still have manufacturers’ guarantees in the Philippines?
I have seen some US car magazines offering used cars but with manufacturer’s guarantees. Is there a similar offer anywhere in the Philippines? If so, where and how can the information ba accessed?
Used cars can still have certified manufacturer’s warranties in the USA or Canada but I’m not sure if they have those here in the Philippines. Where and who can I contact?

A: Knowing nothing about the Philippines, I can’t give you specific information, but I would go to any new car dealership, and ask this question. GM for instance, offers “Certified” used cars that are covered by their factory warranty.

Q: Where do I find used cars from private partys on the internet in California?
It seems like everything I find when Im looking for a used car is from a dealership. Where do I look to find used cars from a private party?

A: go to craigslist.com You can buy almost anything for cheap

Q: What is a good site to look for used cars in my area besdies craigs list?
I am looking for a used first car that is some where between 1 and 4k and i have been using mostly craigs list, whats a good place to look for these cars i tried ebay and a few others but they are more for ‘new’ used cars that are mostly 10k and over. Any ideas, craigs list is great i just want more sites to look for cars to open my options.

Thanks a lot.

A: autotrader.com is a good site to buy used cars from. Other than that I would suggest you go to a car auction. You’ll be able to get a car there within your price range.

Q: How Come Used Japanese Cars Are So Popular At Auctions & Dealerships?
I came across some pretty fantastic cars at Japanese auctions but sadly they were out of stock. BTW, how do you find out the quality of cars at used car auctions?

A: Japanese cars are world famous for their quality and testing standards. Add to this the good roads in Japan, the ‘drifting’ culture, and the fact that the Japanese are fanatic about keeping their cars in top shape, and you’ve got a used car market that’s a buyer’s goldmine.

If you’re buying Japanese cars off the used car market, make a note of the Grade that indicates the health of the car. Grade 5 indicates the car is almost brand new while Grade 2 indicates an unsuitable car. Some of the best deals can be found at Grade 3.5 and above.

Q: How much, on average, did used cars cost in the early 1980s?
I mean all together. I know most say that cars vary too much to get an absolute answer, but even an average specific to a model would be fine. Or just what was your experience when shopping for a used car in the early 80s.

A: I am almost 43 now. Graduated from high school in 1984. Got a car junior or senior year. Used Buick Skylark. Very family car, very not cool. Great car. It was $3500 back then. I think it was 4 years old when I bought it. LOVED that car because it was my first and I had to pay for it on my own. My payments were $97.33 per month.

Q: How do I get a car quote? I want to buy a new car…?
I’m looking forward to buying a new car – either a Toyota or a Honda, but I’d like to know more than just the MSRP. I’d like to get an actual car quote for specific cars, so then I can go to the dealerships with more information. I’m worried that the car dealers will try to tack on all sorts of extra fees, and I hate negotiating, so I want to get a specific car quote (or several of them), so I will know a bit more what I’m doing. Any ideas?

A: Buying a car can be difficult. But the internet has made it a lot easier because now people can look up things online and not just rely on vehicle buying advice from friends. Good for you for looking at Toyotas and Hondas – they make great cars and trucks! Anyway, I’d say that it’s best to go online for a car quote. The best place is instantcarquote.info because it not only has good resources, but it also shows the ins and outs of buying a new car.

Good luck with your new car purchase!

Q: Is there any Car Insurers who let you use your no claims from a bike towards your car quote?
I have had a scooter for a year, and when im 17 im wondering will any ca insurers accept my bikes year no claim towards a discounted rate for my first car quote?
Thanks

A: No.

Even insurance companies who offer ‘6-wheel’ insurance (combined car and motorcycle policies) won’t allow you to transfer NCB between a car and a bike, or vice-versa.

Q: Where can I find a free car quote for a car that I am about to sell?
Please only show me options to get free quotes on a used car. Preferably any model.

Q: Where can I get car insurance quote online?
I’m looking for a non-biased list of quotations. I’m from New York by the way. Anybody knows any website where I can get a list of car insurance quote online?

A: Try this site

http://quoteinsurance.notlong.com

here you can get quotes from different companies in your area.

Q: Where is the best place to get an online car insurance quote?
Well, I just got a new car and need to get insurance. I was wondering what the best site is for insurance quotes and where I can get the cheapest insurance? Thank you in advance!

A: There is no best place.
Insurance companies target market certain groups of people and give them their best rates. Groupings are based on prior insurance coverage, age, gender, credit rating, driving record, marriage status and even occupation. Your best source would be your local independent insurance agent. He/she knows who writes which group at what price.
Also, your agent can advise you on how to obtain the best quotes not just now, but also in six months. You may need some grooming.

Q: How can i get a lower car insurance quote?
im looking for cheap car insurance. im 16 and i have a 1994 oldsmobile bravda and im trying to get cheap insurance. i have gotten quotes from several insurance companys and wanted to know if there is a way i can make it lower.

A: Just get a quote from insurers you get from yellow pages,. the internet, the TV, the radio.
Simply don’t go for the first price they quote you but spend a few days collecting data.

Q: How to get a free rate quote for car and health insurance?
I’m doing a school project for economics. How to get a free rate quote for apartment, car and health insurance?

A: Try this site,

http://cheap-health-insurance-rate.info

Here you can get free quotes from different companies in your area

Q: What exactly is a car quote?
I’m looking for my first car… It’s kind of embarrassing, but I’m not 100% sure what a car quote is, haha.

A: Quote is an insurance term used by insurers to provide you with an estimate of what you will be paying for insurance. They are about 70-90% reliable as a reflection of what you will be paying with that company should you choose to select them.

Q: Do you need to include parking tickets when getting a quote for car insurance?
The car insurance web site asked ‘have you recieved any driver or vehicle related tickets or citations’ … does this include parking tickets? If so, is there a way they can tell if you’ve had a parking ticket before and does this affect your quote?

A: Try using http://My-InsuranceSearch.com to compare car insurance rates for all the major providers in your area.

Q: When asked to give name and address for a car insurance quote?
Do they send you information? Because my parents currently pay for my car insurance but I want to get some insurance quotes before I move out of the house (which they don’t know about). I also don’t want junk mail…

A: that depends if the source is trustworthy.

Q: how can i get a lower car insurance quote?
im looking for cheap car insurance. im 16 and i have a 1994 oldsmobile bravda and im trying to get cheap insurance. i have gotten quotes from several insurance companys and wanted to know if there is a way i can make it lower.

A: Get collision only and have a high deductible.
Also, shop around as prices wildly differ depending who you go with..
Getting quoted is free at

hope it helps

Q: How to get a free rate quote for apartment, car and health insurance?
I’m doing a school project for economics. How to get a free rate quote for apartment, car and health insurance?

A: Try this site where you can compare quotes from different companies in your area

http://cheap-health-insurance-usa.info/

Hope this help,

Q: what should you do to get a lower new car quote?
Hello. I want to buy a new car. I have already picked out a car and I am set on that car. Now I just need to go around to different dealerships and negotiate and try to get a good deal.
What are some things I should look out for? To get the lowest price.
I have heard that they try to sell you lots of random useless things (like interior protection, undercoating, etc) that isn’t really worth spending on. So just stuff like that.

If it makes a difference, I want to get a Mitsubishi Lancer.
Thanks

A: Consumer Reports (www.consumerreports.org) offers “New Car Price Reports” for $14, which include a complete breakdown of the car’s Base MSRP, Dealer Invoice Price, active rebates, dealer holdbacks, and individual options/equipment price breakdowns.

I ordered a Price Report for myself, when I bought my last car. I used the information to bargain the price WAY down, because the salesman realized that I knew exactly how much profit they would make on the final sale.

After you settle on the final price with your salesman, it’s up to you to say “no” to all of the unreasonable add-ons and expenses (they’ll push hard, especially if you just finished bargaining the price down!)

Q: Where can I get a good car insurance quote?
I have full coverage with AIG,but I its too high.Tried Geico, its about the same quote.

A: Just get a quote from insurers you get from yellow pages,. the internet, the TV, the radio.
Simply don’t go for the first price they quote you but spend a few days collecting data.

Q: Used Car..?
How do you know you are getting a reliable car when you buy a used car from a dealer?

A: Why waste time and money with a double-talking car dealer when you can buy your dream car from government seized auto online auction, where you can buy a car 90% off Retail Value?
This may help you:
http://www.usedcarsinfo.info/
Good luck!

Q: used car____________________?
i am looking to buy a used car i want a little car with less than 140000 miles also with airbags so like a 1995 or mor and i want a little car that gets good gas mileage for around $2000 what is the best website for used cars or the best place to go to find one

A: www.cars.com
www.autotrader.com
At both of these sites you can put in your exact specifications on the year, milage, and price range you want, as well as other things too.

I don’t think I can make those websites clickable links, but you can type them in your browser.

Q: What advantages do used car dealers have when they sell a car as owner?
Why would a used car dealer or anyone that sells multiple cars hide the fact that they have other cars for sale? Most of the ads of cars for sale are too good to be true and I stay away from them but what do they hide by showing they are for sale by owner?

I have used Craig’s List to find a used car and some deals are too good to be true and I hate to see young folks buy these reconditioned cars that CARFAX can’t list because of the laws in 29 of the 50 states not making it mandatory to list wrecked or totaled cars.

A: Because “curbstoners” as they are called want to avoid paying taxes; avoid paying for a license (required if you sell over a certain number a year); avoid laws such as inspecting cars to make sure they are roadworthy; etc.

Most of the unbelievable deals on Craigslist are not from curbstoners but from con-artists. Most of these cars do not exist at all. They just convince unsuspecting buyers to send them cash through Western Union and of course they dissapear.

Q: How do you negotiate with used car sales associates and with individuals selling preowned cars?
I’m going to buy a used car soon. How do you negotiate with a used car sales associate for the best price? And how do you negotiate with an individual that’s selling his/her used car? Thanks.

A: Have an idea what the car is worth first so you know if the selling price is in the ballpark. Don’t fall in love with that particular car; there are thousands and thousands of used cars out there. Get a carfax report if you can and be prepared to walk away immediately if you can’t come to an agreement or if the seller balks about having your mechanic check it out.

Q: What used car dealerships have nice car photography on their sites?
I can’t believe how awful most of the shots are of used cars on dealership sites. I’m curious to see a dealership that actually has some decent photography for used cars — imagery that they have to take themselves rather than relying on the car manufacturer or cooperative advertising stock photography.

A: hey check my dealer out . www.scottautogroup.com my name is Jimmy Roman im in the la county. good luck

Q: What should I know before buying a used car for the first time?
So I am planning to buy a used car but I know nothing about them.
I basically need help.
I am not asking my family because they never have time and aren’t very dependable.
I am learning to drive right now so I want a good reliable car.

I basically need tips.
What are things that I should ask when buying a used car?
What should I look for in a used car?
What are warning signs?

Your answers and tips will be of so much help!
Thank you!

A: To buy a used car, make sure its below 60,000 miles if its an American car such as GM, Ford, or chrysler or 80,000 miles or less if its a Honda, toyota, acura, infiniti etc..
make sure it has no problems with engine and transmission
make sure engine light is not on
make sure the tires are not worn out, otherwise ask for a lesser price as tires can cost up to 700 dollars or more
make sure you get a carfax report but do not fully depend on the report.
ask if it has been in an accident
ask how many owners for the car so far, less is better
ask for all of the maintenance receipts that they have done so far for the car so you can keep them as a reference of what has been done for the car.
its better to buy a car that is less than 8 years old unless you will be using it lightly
Thanks

Q: What is the cheapest, most reliable used car to run into the ground?
I am looking to buy a cheap, reliable used car that I can basically drive for 10 years with as few problems as possible, safety or maintenance-wise.

I don’t care about resale value since I intend to run the car into the ground. In fact, a high resale value might make the car too expensive to purchase as a used car.

What would you reccomend?

A: Pretty much anything japanese, like others are saying the Honda Civic is pretty good – I knew someone who had one and they got it 10 years old and carried on using it for another 10 years. In the end they drove it to a scrap yard, it drove fine but it was begining to rust in places.

Q: How can I sell my used 2005 car without the tile to my friend who is short on cash?
I just bought a newer used car from 2005 at the toyota dealer and I got the loan through them. I bought the car for $12,800 total with taxes and I put $2,000 dollars down when I bought it. So now I owe about $11,000 on it. I would like to sell it to a friend for $12,000 and make back about a $1,000 on it. This way I’ll only end up loosing the $800. He doesn’t have enough money so he would have to take out a loan from somewhere himself, but I think he has good credit.

Anyway, the problem is that I don’t have the title since the car isn’t paid off yet and I owe the dealer money, not a bank, since the loan was taken out through them. What are the steps I have to take to sell this car to my friend who is also short on cash himself, but still has good credit?

Also, how hard would it be to sell this car to a stranger if my friend decides to back out of it since I don’t have the title?
What about selling it to CarMAX? I heard that they take care of all the financial mumbojumbo for you.

A: you cannot sell a car without a clear title., no matter who has good credit or not. If you did anyway, and he doesn’t pay for it, the dealer will still demand from you the money, owed on the car.If he becomes deliquient and you don’t pay up. this will destroy your name and credit and possible go to jail.

Q: What is the best used car to buy in the following situation?
Hello! I had an accident with my previous car and consequently have to buy a “new” one. With a budget limit of $3700, and wanting a passenger car 1998 or newer, what is the best make and model of used car to purchase?

A: Honestly, anything american will always be cheaper… short and long run, maintenance, price, etc. If it has to be foriegn, choose toyota corrolla. $3700 could buy a ford taurus, crown victoria, grand marquis.

Q: What type of Used car would you recommend for Delivery work?
I am thinking about working part-time delivering suitcases for my friends company, but I have a new car that I don’t want to use for that, So I would like know what type used station wagon or van I could buy cheap and that good on gas mileage.

A: Ok, I don’t know exactly, but I would think an older model of the Dodge Caravan would be great for you. You can try googling all this, and look up another car, but this is good or close to it on gas (I think it is 20-25MPG), and it is really spacious. Also, they are quite cheap, even the new models. So you might want to look into this vehicle, but one problem I can think of is the engine. I really don’t know the engine specs, and it might have some trouble. This may be but, it is a very popular vehicle, so it probably isn’t that bad. I hope this helps.

Q: How do you have a mechanic check a used car before you even purchase it?
We’re doing tons of research before we buy this used car, and what keeps popping up is have a mechanic inspect the car before you buy it, and run a background car check. We just ran the background on the car, and it has perfect history.

But how do you get the car off the lot and have an independent mechanic check the car before you even buy it? How do you ask a car salesman if you can do that?

A: just tell them you are very interested in the car but you want your mechanic to check it over first most salesmen have no prob with this and will lend you the dealer plate as long as you have arrangments made with your mechanic if they will not do thisthere is more than likely a reason and walk away and keep looking

Q: What is the best used or new car to buy and how much?
I need another car, I have searched the net but all car websites will have you believe that their cars are the best. I think I will get a used car, since you can get more for your money. And the past I have had two brand new cars, but I think I’ll go used this time around, 2004 and above. I’m thinking about a van or truck this go around. What do you think is better a car or van/truck. What brand is the best family vehicle? Have you had any problems with a certain brand vehicle?

A: man i can’t belive some of these answers. you are wise in not buying new. let someone else take the huge depreciation hit. I personally buy what your looking at 2-3 low mileage cars. You have to deside what you will be using the car for. Then how long you will keep it. The if you want a car or a “hey look at what I drive status symbol” Cars are made to get people from point a to point b. I have bought and sold thousands of cars and trucks over the years. I think last time I looked it was pushing a million vehicles. We are in the business to advise companies on current vehicles and the lowest cost per mile. Why do you want a van or a truck? Have something to haul?
The best basic transportation is a used Ford taurus. they are cheep to buy used, cheep to fix, very safe, and just a little bit less reliable as toyota or honda and cost a ton less. In a mini van the Chrysler line will give you the best bang for your buck. They also cheep to fix, hold their value and can be had for 4-5 G less then honda and toyota. They have nicer features the the Honda and toyota, ride and handle better and crash better then honda or toyota so insurance is less. If you want a full size truck The Ford E150 van or the F150 pick up. The others out their , no matter whos just pretend to be trucks. You have to know trucks like we do to tell we see what should not break do so on the others. all the others. From frames bending to beds bending or tailgates falling off. Deside what you need to use it for before you buy a truck. Gas mileage is horrible on all of them. I happen to like the New ford escape hybrid as all around vehicle. People who have them love them, few minor problems, gas mileage is in the 30’s and its all wheel drive.

Q: What is a reliable used car with decent versatility and gas mileage?
I am looking for a reliable used car with decent mileage and versatile cargo space on a college student budget. I am not to worried about style or speed, my biggest concerns are that I am 6′5″ and would like to fit behind the wheel, and am planning to drive home about 1800 miles with a dorm room full of stuff. What sort of cars should I be looking for?

A: I find Civics & Corollas in general to be overpriced in the used car market. A better bet, imo would be a Hyundai Elantra, which is rated a used car best bet by Edmunds yet can be had for several thousand dollars less than a Civic or Corolla of comparable year & condition, at least in my neck of the woods. Camry is a nice car & is roomier than a Civic or Corolla which might serve you better due to your height. But I am a little leery because they seem to have a problem w/ oil gelling & causing engine failure if they weren’t properly maintained (this is documented on a number of web sites, yet still generally ignored by the mainstream media). Many Accords can be found in the used car market, but again the name ‘Honda’ seems to be enough to demand a premium price. Maintenance is a key in used cars. If you can find a car that has been cared for, one that has been properly maintained & has its service records intact, that is probably more important than the make & model, despite what Honda & Toyota would want you to think.

Q: Can I buy a cheap used car after I have my court hearing with Chapter 7 bankruptcy?
My court hearing for meeting the creditors/trustee is on July 10th for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in Florida. I was wonder since my household only have 1 car. I really need to have a extra car for me to use for work instead of using my spouse car. I’m planning to pay cash for a cheap used car but I need to know will it be a problem once after I do my court hearing?
Well I guess I have to wait for the letter of discharge right?? How long does that usually take?

A: You should wait until the BK is final; the reason is 1) you are not supposed to have that much cash 2) you should not change your assets until he BK is final 3) a creditor may throw a monkey wrench in the works and you have to answer some more questions under oath before it is all done, and you would have to reveal the car or risk having your BK thrown out 5) there is too much risk for too little reward 6) if you absolutely cannot live and I mean get to work, see if you can rent one for the interim from a “junk car rental place” 7) you NEED to not change your status at all until it is final you should be asking your BK attorney this question I hope you have beed advised that you cannot increase your income AT ALL until your BK is final, the rulkes are so strict that I am amzed that a two earner family was able to pass the means test for a chapter 7…good luck and don’t risk having your chapter 7 converted to a 13

Q: What is the best used car to purchase for the least amount of money?
I would like to buy a used car between the years 2000 and 2004. I would like to stay around $5000. Does anyone know the best car to get for this price?

A: I had a Honda civic for 6 years, and I am sorry I got rid of it. It had great gas miles, and plenty of power, and was the most reliable car I ever owned, and toyotas are very dependable too. Happy shopping.

Q: What are some cheap new cars that are out?
I’m looking for a new car.. Cheap and good?
Any ideas?

A: Well..
Kia is cheap.
Scions and Smart are cool and cheap too.

Q: What are some cheap new cars?
Like there are the scions, but what other cars can you buy new at a cheap price?

A: I just got a 2007 dodge caliber about 2 months ago- and I love it- it was inexpensive (starting at under 15k without extra features)

There are a ton that you can get as long as you can do away with the special features.

-EA

Q: Tips for used car shopping? Any new cheap new cars that are really better and reliable?
Please help. I have moved to a rural area, and have not found a good job yet. My car is dead, my bankruptcy is just about to be cleared, and I’m working as a sub teacher for not enough money, but some.
The cars around here are 8K to start, and that’s for 70K miles, etc. I have a very wonderful BF who might take the loan for me and ask me to pay of course… I can’t seem to think logically due to guilt and the tremendous recent loss of independence.
Can anyone give me the straight on this? PS by rural I mean northern, mountainous, snowy, but not necessarily SUV-only territory.
Thanks a bunch!

A: Consider a Jeep Cherokee (the boxie one, not the grand Cherokee). They are cheap, reliable (I have one and my mom has one and neither of us have had problems *knock on wood*). They should fit the bill in your area and terrain. You might also consider a Chevy Cavalier that is a few years old.

Any new car is going to be at least 14K after taxes and such. If you buy a used car, especially one in the 7K range, you wont lose much if you sell the car in a few years and get a new car.

Q: cheap used or new cars any tips?
where can i buy cheap cars from? dont mind used cars am looking for an audi A3,A4 or bmw 320d ive been told to travel up north for cheap cars
any tips or contacts?

A: The most under valued cars right now are the big luxury cars. If you look for one with low miles, and about 7-10 years old, you can get an excellent deal. The reason being that the people who by those things, get them for a status symbol. In 7-10 years they are no longer a status symbol. Usually they get much better fuel economy and have greater power than other cars their size. A Lincoln Continental or town car is a great price right now if you buy late nineties and early 2000 models. Also Caddies and so fourth. Good luck. Hope you find a great one.

Q: Would it be better to buy a cheap new car or a used luxery car?
I’m planning on getting a car in the next year for myself. However do you think its be better to get a new cheap car such as Hyundai Accent or a 2001 Jaguar “S” in prestine condition? Cars come out to the same price in the end.

Thanks,

A: A new car would be a better choice as no one will have used it before u… Who knows about the history of the Jaguar… True a Jaguar is good for showing off & is more powerful but it will be expensive to maintain & run… Plus being an older model, u will have small problems surfacing now & then…S type is not a good luxury choice… The Accent is cheaper, more reliablr & economical!! It is yuor money well spent on the Accent!!!

Q: Question about the new cheap cars?
Are the Nanos going to be sold to US citizens for $2,500.00? In other words are the Smart cars and the Nanos different vehicals because the smart cars are like $10,000.00?
But it said that the Nanos were coming to the united states?

A: The Nanos are an Indian made car without airbags. As such it won’t meet safety requirements for sale in the U.S.

Q: Getting new cars for cheap in the UK?
What Car Magazine sets a “target price” for people who will buy new cars in the UK. This target price almost always at least £1,000 less than the car list price.

How is someone supposed to find this target price? Do we go to different dealers, or just ask for a discount?

Any ideas? Thanks!

A: target price it what you should aim to pay- hence target. this is what the dealers should sell you the car for if you push, rarely will dealers insist on you paying full, unless they’re bast**ds like Porsche . What you need to do is play the dealers off against each other i.e. “well the garage down the road will give me free metallic paint and £1500 off” even if its not true, it works. they need your business. also try and find little faults i.e. if you were buying a BMW instead of a Merc, say you prefer one of the features of the merc and highlight the things like “but the mpg better on a Mercedes isn’t it?” then the BMW dealer will thing your wavering and start giving you incentives.

Q: New cheap cars, student?
What are some of the “affordable” (just looking to find the cheapest) of the new cars out there now?
I know a new car might not be the best way to go; I’ve done a fair bit of research on pre-owned ones. Just looking to see what you come up with, thanks

A: Why a new car? Haven’t you had your sophomore economic classes yet? Get a 1 or 2 year old that has already taken the big hit on depreciation.

Cars, lots of good cars out there. Corolla, Nissan, Honda, Kia and HYUNDAI all make good little cars. With the depression, lots of good low mileage vehicles are available.

One drawback, new cars generally get a better loan rate at the banks.

Q: i have 12-18k i need a fast car please what are good cheap fast cars? any newer ones? any help is appreciated?
well, i have a few bucks not a lot but a few, i need a fast cheap car. i was thinking a newer car but i can’t find any cheap new cars. so any help please? any at all i would love it. and where i can find the cars, what kind of cars, what model, what year. anything thanks a million. [=

A: you can find a used toyota supra turbo around 95-97 they are wicked fast or find a mustang cobra or a saleen

Q: Where to buy a cheap new car battery in ontario?
Its for a 2000 corolla. Somewhere in the GTA area would be good. Was looking for a new battery that’ll cost me less then a hundred dollars?

Also my friends uncle works at some car place, and says he can sell me a nearly brand new toyota battery for $50… (its taken out of totalled cars)

should i just get the toyota one or buy a new one? Which one is better?

A: Given the winters in toronto I would think a new battery with a guarantee is a must, have you tried canadian tire? A battery out of a totalled car could have all kinds of problems.

Q: What cars have cheap insurance for new drivers?
I have only been driving since january this year, i currently own a triumph spitfire that i have been restoring for the last two years, it is in really nice condition now and want something new, the insurance was only £756 for the first year which i was very pleased about.

I want to sell my car an buy another convertible, but what cars have cheap insurance? i am looking into the the possibility of another classic or just a more modern car. all suggestions welcome.

Thank you in advance

A: Classic cover tends to be cheaper.
If it is a modern car then factors such as its insurance group, value, where you live, your occupation and where it is kept overnight all go together to produce the premium.

So small engine, over 5 years old, kept off road at night is best.

Q: Where could I buy cheap(new or used)cars in New York?
I amgoing to purchase a car. Could anybody suggest me the best and cheapest place?

A: Car-Auction has a database full of thousands of different repo cars that you can bid on! http://carauctions.deals-guide.com/ , you will find great cars in your area

Q: buying a new car, know of any cheap buy reliable cars?
I am looking into doing the cash for clunkers deal but dont want to spend more than 20,000 on a new car, any suggestions?

A: It should be 4-door, 4-cyls, not sporty. I would prefer Honda or Toyota… First time drivers usually have much more expensive car insurance, and it depends from car. You should compare insurance rates while choosing the car – for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com

Q: Cheap new Cars for a family of 5?
I have a family of 5.
3 car seats right now.
I have a 2 year old, a 6 year old, and a 6 month old. So the baby is in the center and we are struggling with room in our Saturn Vue..its tight, but it works.

We are getting a second car. We want it to be cheap but have the capability to hold 3 cars seats. (1 booster w/no back, 1 carseat, 1 infant carseat)

Any suggestions?
Cheap as in new but affordable. I’m sorry I didn’t clarify this.
cheap or affordable is around 10-15k

A: Try a public car auction. you don’t need a dealer licence. This one has online gaurantees the motor and transmission and delivers to 48 states in the usa. They also let you test drive if you are in the area before the auction starts http://www.interstateautoauction.com. You can get a car really cheap. The only catch I found with them is that although it’s free to bid online, they do have a auction fee if you win a car for example, you win a car for $2,000 they add $220. So you have to pay $2200 when its all said and done, but The car is already like $2000 less then anywhere else so it’s not too bad.

Good luck

I found them by going online and just searching car auction they poped up first.

Q: Buying New Cars Cheap?
Whats the best way to get the cheapest prices for new cars?

A: Try a site that will get you multiple quotes from your local dealers, like

http://viewbestdeals.com/carprices.html

.

Q: How much do cars sale for at public auctions?
I am thinking about buying a car from a auto auction. What is the average price or a range in which cars are usually sold at an auction for? I just want a basic car to get me from point a to point b.

A: That depends on year/make/model/mileage/condition. Most public auctions for vehicles are not retail quality. The primary source of buyers for these auctions are people that know enough about cars to perform whatever maintenance that is required to get them to run. Is isn’t unheard of to buy a car for $200 or less. But the old saying is true “you get what you pay for.” So don’t expect to buy a creme puff. What you buy probably wont even pass emissions tests. Be prepared to spend at least an additional $500 to make it legal.

Q: What is the easy way to re-sale cars from the auction without a dealer’s license?
My friend has a dealer which I can use his license to go and bid some cars at the auction. I want to fix and sell later to make some money. But I can’t have more than 3 cars in my name in 1 year period. And to have a dealer’s license is really expensive and I don’t have any location.

I was looking for rebuilder, wholesaler, junk, or scrap license are generally allowed to bid everywhere. But I couldn’t find any solid information. Does anybody knows how to do it? I live in Miami, FL.

A: just buy and sell just those 3 cars. and if business is good for you youll have money for your own license.

Q: When do people put their cars up for sale?
It’s been a while, and I’ve been wanting to purchase an Audi A6 (2006-2008), and I checked almost every website out there (private seller ONLY). Unfortunately, people are not selling their cars and I continue to wait for updates, yet there are none. My father says there will be more during March-May due to Taxes. I’m just so tired of waiting. Any advices? Around what month do you think there would be more cars for sale?

A: Between March and May as your father said, due to tax season, warmer weather, and high school kids getting anxious to own some wheels.

Q: I’ve lost the service book for my Audi A6 – is it possible to get a new one? Can it affect cars sale?

A: I think its possible to get another, and getting it stamped back up again should be no problem either, as the servicing dealer will have your car on its computer system, detailng everytime its been serviced and so on.

I dont know whether it will affect the resale value, as the original book would have bar codes and info inside the front cover etc and i`m unsure if a replacement book would have the same stuff:

Bar code & info stickers come with the car from the manufacturer upon delivery you see, and are then stuck inside the cover of this book by the dealer.

Q: What are some good internet sites that have replica cars for sale?
Im looking for some good internet sites that have Already Built (turnkey) replica cars for sale. Whether its a company or just a listing of classifieds. Im interested mostly in shelby cobras, lamborghinis, and shelby gt500 mustang replicas. PLEASE HELP! thanks.

A: ebay, motors, replica cars has a bunch of them.

Q: Is there a company that consigns cars for sale on Ebay?
I’d like to sell my 1996 Geo Metro (located in Tallahassee, FL) on Ebay, but because I’m generally clueless about cars, I’d like to find someone to do it for me. I’m looking for a reputable company that consigns cars for sale. I’d gladly pay the fees as long as I don’t have to deal with the hassle of the sale.

A: The fees would be more than the car is worth.

Just post it on craigslist.

Q: Where can I access repo cars for sale?
I’ve been searching for sites that have repo cars for sale but everything wants me to pay a price to access the information so that means it’s probably trying to rip me off right?

A: Internet web sites are not free. It costs the operator/publisher money to run the web site and to post. (That’s why Yahoo! has those annoying pop-up ads on every page)

If you want the information posted on these web sites, you are expected to pay for them.

Q: How can I find out about bank repo cars for sale?
I am low on cash (after going through graduate school) and I am looking to my a decent car. I bought a car at a local auction once and was very successful! So I just thought of bank repo cars. Can you help me or point me a direction where I could find out some more about bank repo cars?

A: as the above poster said, most banks send their cars to auction, you might want to try credit unions in your area, good luck

Q: What state has the cheapest cars for sale?
I was just curious if anyone knew where the best deals for cars are?

A: not sure but i know new hampshire has no sales tax even on cars, which tend to be pretty big sales so no tax is awesome!

Q: I currently sale cars, I have been wanting to get a dealers licence for a while but I dont know the steps?
How. Is there anyone that could point me in the right direction? Oh I also live in Michigan.

A: You need to contact your State office of Dept. pf Motor Vehicles, ask for the dealer support desk and find what the qualifications are.Usually you have to be bonded and cover insurance with a $300,000 liability policy and the state fees.If you have never done this you are entering the twilight zone I would work for independent dealer first to see how hard and tough it really is,good luck.

Q: Foreclosed Homes and Repossessed Cars for Sale questions?
I have a question, I live in Maryland and I am interested in buying a house and buying a car, but I see that repossessed cars and homes are cheaper. Is there a official website that I can go to so I can see the listings and prices/ does anyone have any advice on repossessed cars and foreclosed homes? I would love all the good advice I can get.

Thank you.

A: For foreclosed homes you can go to www.oreolist.com . This is a website I’m involved in so I’m what partial. I did however while compiling the list of foreclosures homes found that many credit unions have lists on their sites for repossessed cars. You might try there. Send me an email at contactus@oreolist.com and I’ll send you a list of links to all credit unions in Maryland. It might make your search a little easier.

Q: Anybody know of cars for sale with rims and a stereo?
like a website for custom cars with rims and stereo systems but all for sale and somewhat cheap?

A: You will just have to look at places like eBay, Craigslist or the Auto Trader.
