Q: What car should I buy the 09 accord coupe or wait for the 2010 mustang gt?
I was planning on buying a 09 accord coupe but now since I saw the new 2010 ford mustang GT that’s going to come next year, I don’t know if I should get the accord or wait to get the 2010 mustang! My only CONCERN about the mustang is the GAS!!

A: I bet an 09 Accord will be worth more than a 2010 mustang.
Once Ford makes a million of them, you will be able to buy them

Q: How do I open the fuel door on a 2010 Mustang GT?
I just bought a 2010 Mustang GT this week and I need to gas it up. I’m having a hard time finding the fuel door release and I left my owner’s manual at home (I’m visiting my parents for the weekend). ANy help would be appreciated!

A: Two things may be your issue – the 2010 Ford Mustang GT has a fuel door that is spring loaded. You need to push in on the door itself and it will spring open slightly. Second, it is outfitted with a capless fuel filler. You simply need to put the fuel pump nozzle in the normal fuel fill area and pump gas as usual.

Q: Will the value of older versions of Ford Mustangs decrease once the 2010 Mustang is released?
Would the value of the older versions of Ford Mustangs (Such as the 99-04 Mustangs) decrease once the new 2010 Ford Mustang has been released? I’m looking forward to purchasing a 99-04 Ford Mustang sometime in the future and I was just curious about my theory.

A: Older models always depreciate when a new one is released. Remember also that they will continue to get older and depreciation always increases with age. Consider an 05-09?

Q: can the stock roof be changed in a 2010 mustang?
I’m planning to buy a 2010 mustang, however I’m not buying it with a glass roof because I don’t have the money.

Can the roof of the mustang be replaced by the glass roof easily? (By easily I mean as simple as changing the wheels on the car)

A: They are a company or too that sell the moon roof, for like 1500 and you install it or they install it for like 2 grand and warranty it to not leak, But I would just save up before I bought the stang and went ahead and get the moonroof option. Good Luck

I really like sport cars and I plan on buying a new 2010 manual mustang v6 premium loaded with the gps, right now on ford’s website it says it would be about $28,000 but im wondering if it will be cheaper in 2012. also do you know about how much insurance would cost for an 18yr old with that car. And if you have any other sport car suggestions please let me know.

A: $28.000 is about what it will be in 2012. The insurance for a 18 yr old male will be in the region of $2500 -$3000 per year. Slightly less for a female driver.

Q: What are the best upgrades 2010 Mustang?
What are the best upgrades that I can do to my 2010 Ford Mustang that would maximize HP. Keep in mind money as well because I don’t have an unlimited supply of it therefore I can’t just run out and Supercharge it. Thank you for all your help!

A: First, start out with the simple bolt-ons. I’m in the same boat you are in, except my Mustang is an ‘06 GT. You didn’t mention whether you have the V6 or V8, but you’ll have an easier time finding things for the V8, though support is still pretty decent for the V6.

First things first, cold air intake, there are 2 ways to go about this, a intake that does not require a tune (ie- K&N, AFE…. ect) and those that do require a tune (BBK, Steeda, Roush). Non tune intakes are cheaper, but make less hp, the ones that do need a tune make the most since they reprogram the ECU for optimum performance. If you can afford it, get an intake and a tuner combo. The tuner is handy for unlocking extra hp, also it helps you get the most power out of all the parts and modifications you make.

Exhaust is another one, be careful with noise regulations and emission regulations. It’s better to go with a complete system, though again check to make sure you can do this where you live. Also long tube headers make more hp over ’shorty’ headers.

Under drive pullies are also fairly easy and inexpensive modification you can make.

Q: Can Microsoft SYNC be installed on a 2010 mustang?
I purchased a 2010 v6 coupe mustang recently, however I did not purchase the premium package which included SYNC. I was wondering (if i call my dealer and ask) will they be able to install sync into my car. Is this possible or did i miss out on my chance?

A: Good News!
Yes , there are now aftermarket SYNC kits available for most Ford products.
Please call your local Ford dealership and they can arrange for the installation.
It will be a little more expensive than it was from the factory, but it is well worth it!

Q: Do you think Grabber Blue is a girly color on a 2010 Mustang?
I’m a guy and I just actually looked at a Grabber Blue 2010 Mustang and kinda’ liked it. Do you think it’s a girly color?

A: Grabber blue is a kick ass color from the heyday of muscle cars. It originated on the Boss and Mach 1 cars of the late 60’s. Not girly in any way, go for it!!!

Just what the title says. I am curious if the 2010 Camaro and Mustang meet the upcoming 2012 crash standards. If someone knows and can link me this info, that would be awesome.

A: You won’t find an official answer to this – the 2012 standards are proposed standards, not official, so it would just be speculation.

Q: What is your opinion on the 2010 Ford Mustang?
I have a 2005 mustang, and after seeing the 2010 Im happy I have an 05. I really like the front of the 2010 but the back of the mustang in my opinion is awful.

A: When the car gets to your local dealer I’m sure they will be happy to let you drive it. Bigger dealers will get the cars 1st so call around.

A: No however I think they might have glass tops like the 2009. The 20-10’s are NiiiiiiCeeee!!!! If I could I’d get one but I’m savin up for the 50th anniversary. I have a 2004 40th anniversary mustang. I’m buyin brand new special ordering that pony! Yaaaaa!!! =)

A: The 2010 v6 starts at $21,395, and the v8 is $28,395. Wait until spring though, when the 2011 Mustangs come out. For around the same price, you will gain around 100 HP in either the v6 or the v8. This means that the 2011 V6 will have about the same power as a 2010 V8 (just 10HP less, it also has less torque, but it’s still very impressive). They will look the same as the 2010s. They will have 6 speed transmissions instead of 5 speeds, and get better gas mileage.

Q: Any body know why everyone has either a 2010 Mustang GT or an Honda Accord?
I mean, seriously, haha, everywhere I go I either see at least a mustand or an Accord in lest than 5 min.

Because if it isnt, then why not just go and buy a Camaro lol.

A: Mustangs have a better reliability record than the Camaro and Honda’s are the best. Check the Consumer’s Reports. Personally, I drive a Ford Ranger, made by Mazda, great little truck.
